Sarah Akard Wilson
Sarah Akard Wilson graduated from Anderson University with a degree in biology. After that she earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Building an office from the ground up, she practiced family dentistry for over thirty years. Since retiring, she has been active with the American Legion Auxiliary and is president of her local Unit. She is also involved with her town, acting as president of one of its boards.
Dr. Wilson is also an expert seamstress and offers her original creations at regional fairs. In addition, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a Master Gardener and enjoys volunteering at several public gardens.
